Nite Jewel Announces New EP, Am I Real ?

After the success of her lo-fi disco debut, Good Evening, Nite Jewel is ready to dominate with a new EP called Am I Real. According to her website; Nite Jewel will self release this six song EP in August on a label called Gloriette. She collaborated with former Ariel Pink Haunted Graffiti member, Cole M.Grief-Neill(he’s also assisted on her debut, Good Evening and is a part of Nite Jewel) on the EP.

The title track, Am I Real, features Daniel and Andrew Aged on Teen Inc. It can be bought here. The title track is also making its rounds on YouTube right now. Listen to it below :

Dirtbag Debut : Uffie ft. Pharrell – ADD Suv

Electro Rapper Uffie has scored a hit single in ADD Suv and she’s finally ready to give us a video for it. This isn’t as nauseating as her other songs and Pharrel definitely brings his A-game. Uffie’s debut, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans is in stores now.

Les Savy Fav’s Album Cover Revealed

As we already know; Les Savy Fav’s next record, Root For Ruin is due out September 14th(via French Kiss Records). What you see before you is the artwork for their new album. Not to different from their previous covers, but still really awesome. It’s been said that their new record embodies a rawer energy, similar to their early recordings. Syd Butler of Les Savy Fav says of the new album(according to a post on CMJ), “I really hope people are as excited about this record as we are. These songs are reminiscent of a time where music and bands were exciting. Music isn’t as exciting as it used to be”. The band recently came through Toronto for NXNE , but there are talks of a fall tour, with dates to be announced very soon. Can’t wait for that! Here is the tracklist :
