Efterklang Joins Forces With A French Filmmaker For “An Island”

11 Nov

Efterklang dropped their new album Magic Chain earlier this year. After that the band played SWSW and toured all over the world. Sounds like a good year right ? Well it seems the boys have big things planned for 2011 as well. The band has recently finished a film with French filmmaker Vincent Moon titled An Island. From what we know, it was filmed in the Danish country side and the idea was to make a film as short as the record. The end result was pretty awesome. Efterklang collaborated with over 200 local musicians; all creating their own performances and interpretations of songs from Magic Chains.

The film will premiere in February 2011, but you can watch the trailer for it below. Go to anisland.cc for more info
